EVENT INFO

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

This is a 21 and over event. You must be 21+ years old with a valid photo ID to attend, no exceptions.

No children, infants, toddlers, or strollers will be allowed into the event. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You must have a printed copy of your ticket OR your ticket barcode (easily viewable) for scanning on your smartphone.

What are the festival dates and hours?

Mission Viejo's Brews and Bands Microbrew Festival takes place on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Village Green at Oso Viejo Park in Mission Viejo, CA. The festival hours for VIP Admission are 12:30-4:30PM and for General Admisision are 1:30-4:30PM. Times are subject to change without notice.

Where is the festival located?

Mission Viejo's Brews and Bands Microbrew Festival takes place at the Village Green at Oso Viejo Park, 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, CA 92692.

Is re-entry into the festival allowed?

As long as you are wearing your wristband, you can come and go as you please!

Is smoking allowed?

No, this is a non-smoking event, smoking is not permitted.

When do TAPS close?

Last pour will be 15 minutes before the ending time of the ticketed session, which is 4:15PM. Time subject to change without notice.

Intoxicated Guests

All guests of the Mission Viejo's Brews and Bands Microbrew Festival are expected to drink responsibly and ensure they have a safe, responsible means of transportation before leaving the event.

Any guest who is intoxicated before entering the event may be denied entry to the event.

Any guest found intoxicated within the event and/or causing a disturbance, as determined by management, will be asked to leave the facility without refund and may be subject to further consequences.

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to remove any individual(s) from the festival for behaving inappropriately. You will be escorted out by security and not allowed back in!

Is this event indoors or outdoors?

Outdoors! Sip under the sun in a park setting and enjoy unlimited beer tastings featuring spring seasonal releases, sway to good vibes with live music, and hang with good people all for a great cause.

Is there any food onsite?

Some of Mission Viejo's finest food trucks will be onsite selling a variety of food options (BBQ, gourmet sliders, Mexican food and Italian ice) for hungry event attendees. Food sold separately and is not included in admission.

Is this event Handicap accessible?

Yes! The venue and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible.

When does event check-in start?

We will start checking in attendees approximately 30-45 minutes prior to each ticketed session. Time subject to change without notice.

Why is there a line to get in?

You will see a line at the event entrance. Don’t let it scare you. It moves quickly. Why a line at all? It is our policy to check the identification of all who enter the festival to ensure they are of proper drinking age. To help the line move quickly, please have your ID ready, either a state-issued ID or a passport. If your ticket is on your phone, please turn the screen brightness all the way up so it is easier for us to scan the ticket.

TICKETS

Will tickets be sold at the door?

Yes, if the tickets are not sold out. Tickets purchased at the door will be $10 more each. VIP Admission at the Gate is $65, plus tax and General Admission at the Gate is $55, plus tax.

What are the Box Office hours?

Mission Viejo's Brews and Bands Box Office is located near Main Gate Entrance. Opens 11:30AM and closes at 3:30PM on Saturday the day of the event. Times are subject to change without notice.

Can I bring someone under the age of 21 as my Designated Driver?

No, our license does not permit anyone under the age of 21 to be inside the event grounds.

How and where can I buy a Designated Driver ticket?

Designated Driver tickets will only be available for purchase at the door the day of the event for $15 and must be accompanied by an General Admission or VIP ticket purchaser in order to purchase a Designated Driver ticket.

Do you accept Cash & Credit Cards?

There is an ATM at the event location with applicable service fees. Some vendors accept credit cards, however the Festival’s Box Office is CASH ONLY.

What if I did not receive an order confirmation email?

Please first check your spam/junk folder. If not there, enter your email address to RESEND YOUR ORDER CONFIRMATION RECEIPT. If you still have not received it CONTACT US as there might be a typo in the email address that you submitted at the time of your order. Otherwise, bring your ID and check in at the Will Call booth near the Main Gate Entrance.  Will Call staff is ready onsite during the festival to answer any questions or concerns you might have such as not receiving your order confirmation email, etc. Bring your ID and check in at the Will Call booth near the Main Gate Entrance.

PARKING

Is there a fee for parking?

No, parking is free.

Where can I find parking?

Parking is available at the event. There are also two overflow locations. Newhart Middle School which is adjacent to the event site. Look for parking directional signage.  Our traffic control will direct you to this location. The second location is at the Mission Viejo City Hall and Library at 200 Civic Center, Mission Viejo, CA 92691. Increment shuttles will depart every 15 minutes or less from this location to the event site from 11AM-6PM. GET DIRECTIONS

Is there ADA Handicap parking?

If you have a handicap placard, you may park in the Norman P. Murray Community Center Parking Lot adjacent to the event.  Enter on Veterans Way and proceed to the end of the street to be directed to the designated parking lot by security personnel.

WHAT CAN/CAN'T I BRING TO THE EVENT?

What You Can Bring With You…

Guests and their belongings are subject to search upon entry or re-entry.

The following items are ALLOWED* at Mission Viejo's Brews and Bands Microbrew Festival:

  • Folding chairs are permitted in designated area. NO Tents, lawn chairs, hammocks or canopies are allowed.
  • (1) One unopened bottle of water per person.
  • Backpacks, EXCEPT for NO backpacks with hydration packs are allowed.
  • Blankets, Sheets, Towels
  • Cameras (basic point and shoot consumer-grade cameras) for personal use.

What You Can’t Bring With You…

The following items are PROHIBITED* at Mission Viejo's Brews and Bands Microbrew Festival:

  • Sorry, no pets are allowed in the festival site. The only animals that are allowed on our grounds are service animals. California Civil Code Section 54.2 (a) Every individual with a disability has the right to be accompanied by a guide dog, signal dog, or service dog, especially trained for the purpose, in any of the places specified in Section 54.1 (Right of full and equal access to places of public accommodation) without being required to pay an extra charge or security deposit for the guide dog, signal dog, or service dog. However, the individual shall be liable for any damages done to the premises or facilities by his or her dog. It is a misdemeanor to fraudulently misrepresent service animals.
  • NO BACKPACKS WITH HYDRATION PACKS, PICNIC COOLERS, BASKETS, GLASSWARE/BOTTLES, OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS ALLOWED IN THE FESTIVAL SITE. No outside food or beverage (including alcohol) of any kind. All food and beverage items must be purchased at the Festival. EXCEPT FOR (1) one unopened bottle of water per person.
  • No Firearms, explosives, smoke bombs, or weapons of any kind (including pocket knives, pepper spray, stun guns, any concealed weapons, fireworks, etc).
  • No Illegal and illicit substances of any kind.
  • No Gambling or illegal activity of any kind.
  • No Drugs or drug paraphernalia.
  • No Skateboards or scooters.
  • No Bicycles inside the festival grounds.
  • No Tents, oversized umbrellas, canopies, hammocks, or shade structures of any kind.
  • No unauthorized/unlicensed vendors.
  • No unauthorized solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, giveaways, samples, etc.
  • No Large wallet and waist chains that exceed 12 inches in length and width of 1 inch.
  • No Bicycle chains or other such chains will be allowed.
  • No Inflatable furniture, rafts, chairs, etc.
  • No Gang affiliated attire.
  • No Water guns.
  • No Cameras, other than for personal use without authorization by management.
  • NO SMOKING, therefore no cigarettes, vapors, marijuana, or tobacco is allowed.

Other items as determined by facility management. Event management reserves the right to handle each occurrence on a case by case basis. Depending on the item, the guest may either be asked to remove the item from the festival site or dispose of the item, or may be ejected from the festival site.

Security Screening & Entry

For the safety of everyone entering the festival, all patrons are subject to a full and complete search prior to entry.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to submit to a search before entry.

All bags will be searched before entry. Persons that refuse to comply with the search policy will be refused entry into the event.

VOLUNTEERING

Can I volunteer for this event?

We love our volunteers! Please visit the CONTACT US page and select the volunteer option for Subject on the website and provide the requested information if you are interested in volunteering. The volunteer coordinator will review your application and respond accordingly.

MISCELLANEOUS

If I break my tasting glass can I get a replacement?

Luckily event grounds are on grass but BE CAREFUL we do not provide replacements. If a replacement is needed you can purchase a replacement for an additional cost for $5 while supplies last. No guarantees.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Ticket holders or attendees of the event consent to being filmed, photographed, and recorded as members of the audience. The resulting film footage, images and recordings may be used to promote the Mission Viejo's Brews and Bands Micobrew Festival in print, various forms of media, and on websites. You consent that the footage remains our property and we may use it in conjunction with promotion of our event however we choose.

Event goers must comply with all relevant statutes, laws, safety announcements, and regulations while attending the event. Breach of any of these conditions or any unacceptable behavior likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall enable Mission Viejo's Brews and Bands Microbrew Festival, its security personnel, volunteers, staff, or festival organizers to eject the attendees from the festival site without a refund.
